dukaUS on TechCrunch…

Saturday, November 15th, 2008

In my last post I mentioned that we were working hard at Jaduka to launch a new project. At the time I didn’t want to say much more since the press release hadn’t gone out, but I am happy to announce that on Tuesday Jaduka officially launched dukaUS as part of Jaduka Labs.

dukaUS is a free conferencing service that allows up to 6 people to talk for 30 mins a day. Check it out and let me know what I think. Like all of the other apps in the Labs it’s Beta.

Something else cool happened this week Tech Crunch wrote a post about dukaUS.  While I wish the author would’ve had a better experience he still liked the app and it’s very cool to see something you helped create be recognized on that level.

A huge congratulations to Eddie, Roy, Kearney, Brock, Eryn and Roland it was their hard work that made dukaUS a reality

All work…

Monday, November 10th, 2008

…and no play makes Jeremy a very dull boy. I’ve been working a lot lately. I’m really enjoying my new role as Development Manager, but there is a lot that we need to get accomplished before the end of the year… So I have been putting in 10-11 hour days. In case you are wondering this isn’t a shill for sympathy, but an merely an explanation of my whereabouts.

This past week was particularly challenging as Nicole and I were both sick and at work we were trying to launch a project. Nicole took most of the week of from work, but I went in every day because I felt like I needed to be there. I am not sure if that is true, but I like to think the project moved along a bit smoother because I was there. Course it could just be my ego talking.

The title of this post is a little misleading as life hasn’t exactly been all work for the past month. I have a few things to blog about and I will hopefully do that this week.
