So my exciting news…..
I am being promoted to Development Manager. Today I started my 90 day trail period. If things go well and I meet my goals during the 90 days, Development Manager will become my full time gig at Jaduka

Barack Obama’s 2008 Presidential Campaign has been an Internet/Social Media darling. His website has earned his campaign grassroots financial support, I am a member of their email list I think I get at least an email a day if not more, and he is also the most followed person on Twitter.com.
So I thought it was pretty cool that he was going to announce via Text Message to his supporters his choice for Vice President before announcing it to the press. The only problem… is he ended up getting scooped by mainstream media. Tonight CNN is reporting Obama has selected Joseph Biden for he running mate. So Barack where is my text message?
Mainstream Media: 1 – Social Media: 0
So how will this be perceived? In my opinion, the problem with making promises is failing to deliver on them.

Wow, where did August go? I apologize for the lack of updates. Between work, watching the Olympics and a personal web project I am developing I have been very busy lately. I have also been working out. I am following a program laid out at hundredpushups.com and you can follow my progress at fitby35.com. My goal when I am done with the program is to actually do 100 push ups. Something I am pretty sure I wasn’t able to do even when I was in great shape in High School.
If I haven’t been busy enough I have some exciting news which I will be able to share with you on Monday, but I can tell you this much it’s going to make me even busier.

Today Conjunctured hosted the iPhone DevCamp Austin. About 25 people, including myself, attended.

Last night I attended SummerMash Austin sponsored by Mashable.com. I took along my new Flip Mino and shot some video. Tonight I edited the footage in iMovie and uploaded it. I apologize in advance for my lack of camera operating skills and the audio is a bit harsh since it was so loud in Buffalo Billards.
