Austin: Day 6

So I guess I should recap the past few days. Friday was a busy day at work I was programming and in training all day. Friday night we came home right after work and made some dinner. I had portabello mushroom for the first time. Ben grilled them and I have to say it did kind of taste like a grilled hamburger, but I only ate part of it. I was thinking too much about it being a mushroom or something and freaked myself out.

After dinner on Friday Ben and I ran to a couple of Comic Book stores. I saw some books I wanna read, but I resisted buying any more books till I finish what I have. We we looking for the game Settlers of Catan we found it at the second store, but it was $40, a little steep for a game, plus it was getting a bit late to play by then.

Today Ben got up and made us vegan pancakes. They were tasty. After breakfast we went and looked at some apartments. Then we went to see “28 Weeks Later” at the Alamo Drafthouse. The movie was ok, the Draft House was sweet. Food, Beer and a movie do I need to say more? We came home and chilled for a while then we all ended up watching TV. Ben ate some Soy Beans for dinner and that’s when I decided being vegan isn’t for me. I mean I think I need to work on adding more veggies to my diet and work a few more vegan meals in to my week, but I think things are good in moderation. Gina and I ended up ordering a pizza for dinner. It was very good!!!

After dinner we watched so more TV then Ben and I played Settlers of Catan on the XBox 360 for several hours. Now it’s time to get some sleep tomorrow I need to do some laundry and get some shit packed up for the trip to Dallas on Monday evening.
